SEO Case Study: Dentist Marketing #2

If you’ve followed along with this blog lately, you know that dentists have been target prospects for a little over a month now. So how are the campaigns doing? Glad you asked.

First, let’s look at why dentists made it onto the Ninja’s radar …

Why do dentists make for great SEO prospects?

For starters, few people enjoy going to the dentist but when they have a need, what do they do? They conduct a search for one of three things:

1) Convenience (time savings = close to work or home; will a trip to the dentist mesh well with my existing routine?)

2) Quality/specific services or procedures

3) Cost savings (i.e. does the dentist take my insurance? Are they offering any kind of incentive to schedule my first appointment? Things like that).

Bluntly put, you (meaning dentists) should be keen to SEO & Internet marketing methods for your business because traditional advertising has lost its effectiveness so SEO is an extremely logical alternative to that. If you fail to prospect for new business, your practice will struggle to exist which is true of any business.

Since you spend (nearly) your entire day focused on patients, prospecting and marketing typically rank rather low on your priority scale even though you know you need to continually market.

Enter the Search Engine Ninja!

In the video below, I’m going to take you through a recent campaign that targeted dentists in the following locales:

1) Colorado Springs, CO

2) Albuquerque, NM

3) Raleigh, NC

4) Temecula, CA

As you watch the video, be thinking about how this type of Google presence may benefit your practice.

I’ve tossed in the Time.gov “time stamps” to show you that I’m not doctoring the videos or doing some creative graphics to falsify the results you see … these are legitimate screen capture videos to let Google tell you how effective this stuff really is.

Enjoy!
